Conquest Requirements - Learners are to have their construction white card upon enrolment. Core unit, CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry = Construction white card

There are so many RTO's offering this training at a low cost, that the most effective way for Conquest to assess this unit of competency is through RPL or Credit Transfer.

Our recent industry research, shows this training online for as little as $39. We can not beat this price.

To complete this unit we direct you to choose an RTO to do this training with and once complete send us the statement of attainment and we will apply a credit transfer to your account. Credit Transfers do not cost you anything.

CPCCWHS1001 hours are not calculated in to the training fees. mandatory contribution fee so you are not being charged by Conquest for this fee and we do not collect any funding either.

ACMA regulatory requirements -  learners must be able to demonstrate 360 field experience hours. Further information down the page.

    2. Advise your AASN that you would like the training to be completed with Conquest Communications.

    1. A Conquest Communications representative will arrange a visit either in person or via teleconference (depending on your location) to go through the pre-enrollment process.

Timeframe

Standard Traineeships Contracts are normally 24 months. Some circumstances can warrant a shorter or longer contract, ask your Australian Apprenticeship Support Network about this upon sign up. Conquest Communications is not included at this level of the process

Employers should be prepared to employ the trainee for the full period of the traineeship contract and provide paid time at work to complete the training (online and practical). Trainees also need to complete study within their own time.

Trainees have a responsibility to be regularly logging in to progress through their online training. Conquest as the selected Supervised Registered Training Organisation have an obligation to report trainees who fail to progress with their training.

Training Plan

The Training Plan describes what training is to be undertaken and what sequence the training will follow, who provides the training and how, when and where this will occur. See the ICT20215 Certificate II in Telecommunications Network Build and Operate course description for how Conquest Training is completed including the breakdown of online study, assignments, hands on days and field experience.

Training and Assessment

  • Responsibility for Structured/Off-the-job training – The SRTO is responsible for delivering the structured/off-the-job training for each unit of competency (i.e. the underpinning knowledge and skills).
  • Responsibility for On-the-job/Workplace Tasks - The employer is responsible for providing training to the apprentice/trainee in the workplace tasks for each unit of competency.
    • If an employer cannot offer the full range of work required for the qualification, it is possible for the trainee to gain the on-the-job experiences/workplace tasks by being temporarily assigned with an alternative employer.
    • If an employer cannot offer the full range of work required for the qualification, provided the training package permits, it is possible for the SRTO and employer to agree that a unit of competency can be achieved in a simulated environment which effectively mirrors the workplace requirements.
  • Time at work to complete the study required - The Apprentice/Trainee will require adequate time to complete the study required in this qualification during and after work hours. The SRTO recommend 1-2 hours a week for online study and advise that 3 full days will be required for the practical assessment.
  • Delivery Modes – The units of Competency are delivered using a mixture of Classroom, Electronic and Employment based modes.
  • Online Study – The majority of the underpinning knowledge is taught through online learning. This online learning is undertaken at the trainees own pace. They can proceed through this as quickly or slowly as they wish. Hands on days to teach and assess the practical skills required will be scheduled/undertaken only once the required online learning has been successfully completed.
  • Training Record Book - Competency can only been given for a unit upon receipt of the corresponding page in the record book with the trainee and employer signature confirming on the job competency as deemed by the employer.

Training Record Book

As a trainee there is an ‘on the job’ component of your training that must be met. To meet this component we require you and your supervisor to complete the attached Training Record Book as you progress through the training. In your course information you can access each page as required. The full book will be supplied upon sign up as well. This is to be completed progressively throughout your training and handed in as you and your supervisor feels you are competent in the listed tasks. You will not be signed off as competent in a unit until this is received.
